ESB - Energy Saver
Last week's site was all about how to save energy in your home. The site presents a pictorial view of a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom and asks students to identify five items which would help save energy. Nice and simple and it proved a real winner with our users.

Safer Internet Day 2010

 February 9th is European Internet Safety Day and is all about increasing awareness of how to make the internet a safer place for young people. The theme this year is “Think before you post” and will focus on how we're managing images online and our privacy in digital environments.
Scoilnet's themepage is a great place for material to help your class with the issues involved in this very important area.

  Math World Cup Various age and skill levels - against the clock. Simple but effective. And a little addictive.
  Addition Matho Simple addition game against the clock. Also has multiplication version. Requires Java.
  Basic Fractions For 5th/6th class. Covers addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

 Our Schools Online section contains a feature which allows teachers to share with others their favourite sites. In the past we have come across useful sites referenced here that we had not heard about before. The teacher that is currently profiled features a school website, Maths and Art resources.
